The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (ONIP) is an immigration program through which the province of Ontario nominates qualified individuals for permanent resident status.

Originally, It is a program designed to facilitate employers who have difficulty finding skilled foreign workers, managerial professional as well as international students to meet their human resource needs in Ontario.
